Today at the Leadership & ALSC session, ALSC premiered a new video, You Belong Here: Membership with ALSC. This video was created through the was a project of the ALSC Membership Committee which received funding support from the Friends of ALSC and Children’s Library Service Endowment. The goals of the video are to:
- encourage student membership with ALSC
- increase awareness of ALSC resources for students and new members
- encourage more LIS students to consider youth librarianship as a career
