It’s less than three weeks until the <#alamw20> ALA Midwinter meetings will be held in Philadelphia, PA. We’d love to have you consider joining our live blogging team from January 24 through the 28th.
Are you heading to Philadelphia for the #alamw20 meetings? Are you excited about the opportunities to meet with librarian colleagues, talk with vendors, attend meetings & training sessions, and attend the Youth Media Awards? If so, the ALSC Blog would love to have you volunteer to help those who are #leftbehind by writing short pieces telling about the people you are meeting and the sessions you are attending, as well as offering information about what you are experiencing and learning. Live blogging is easy and fun, and is a powerful tool for sharing information with other librarians. It can also be a great way to take a reflective look at your own observations and experiences.
Take a look through our live blogging archives to read some of the information which has been shared from past conferences.
Sound interesting? Sound fun? Sound like something you’d like to do? Contact Mary Voors at firstname.lastname@example.org with your questions or to volunteer to liveblog from Midwinter. We’d love to have your contributions!
