ALSC is proud to announce that the 2024 Children’s Literature Lecture will take place at the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, together with the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Computing and Information, the Allegheny County Library Association, the August Wilson African American Cultural Center, and the United Black Book Clubs of Pittsburgh, on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 in the Main Oakland Lecture Hall.Award-winning author Rita Williams-Garcia will deliver the lecture entitled “A Funny Thing About Memory.” The event will start at 7 pm, followed by a reception and a book signing.
