I have been happily using www.goodreads.com to keep track of my own readings, organize my virtual book shelves, and keep up with some of my friends’ reviews. I have set my own comments (called reviews on the site, but they are really just personal comments and reactions) completely public and anyone can access them via this url: http://www.goodreads.com/review/list/315628. There are quite a few personal reading management tools online now and each has its devoted users. I love goodreads because of its clean and elegant design and no-frill usability. Give it a try if you have not yet made up your mine as to which online book journal software to use for you and your patrons yet!
