Students attending eligible universities in Minnesota and Illinois, majoring in the following areas of study may be eligible to apply for a new $2,500 scholarship from Coughlan Companies, the holding company for Capstone Publishers and Mankato-Kasota Stone, Inc.
· Library Science
· Pre-school Education
· Elementary/Primary Education
· English Language and Literature
· Graphic Design
Program guidelines and application are available at www.coughlancompanies.com/communitygiving.htm. Applications will be accepted starting January 11, 2010, and must be postmarked by March 1, 2010. Scholarships will be awarded by April 16, 2010. Scholarship Management Services, a division of Scholarship America, will oversee the application and award process.
