CNN just announced their top 10 heroes, one of which is Yohannes Gebregeorgis. He is recognized for championing children through his program, Ethiopia Reads, and has also received one of the first ALA Presidential Citations on Innovation in International Librarianship at the 2008 ALA Annual Conference.
Each hero will receive $25,000 and a top hero, announced on Thanksgiving Day, will receive $100,000. Read more about the heroes and vote on the CNN Web site.
