Bark, Martha, Bark

    I love children’s books and I love dogs so I’m always happy when the two interests intersect. The current issue of Bark, the modern dog culture magazine, has a wonderful article about Martha. Actually, it’s an interview with the creator of Martha’s books, Susan Meddaugh. Meddaugh talks about the inspiration for the book and how Martha is based on a real stray who came to live with her and her family. Arf!
