Attending a library conference offers the privilege of connecting beyond the walls of our libraries, and the 2025 LibLearnX in Phoenix, Arizona was no exception. In addition to attending the packed-audience, exciting announcement of the Youth Media Award winners, there were dynamic presentations and lots of innovative ideas to take home. From reimagining green spaces and wellness to inviting playfulness in library work, the conference truly delivered something for every library worker.

LibLearnX, Standing Strong, and Working Together for the Future
Hello Wonderful ALSC members, These are strange times, and it can often feel like we’ve gone two steps forward, and now ten steps back. And in some cases, it’s true. I don’t want to start on a negative note, but I have always leaned more towards a realist perspective, and in this moment, we are going to need to stick together more than ever. But let’s begin with something that was positive, though bittersweet: LibLearnX 2025.
