Biggest take-away is to remember that with the 5 Every Child Ready to Read practices, reading is only 20% of your storytime. Every storytime session we are enhancing early literacy skills by singing, playing, talking, and writing as well as reading. This was a fast-paced and brief early morning session that was jam-packed with youth services librarians looking for resources and ideas to incorporate ECRR2 practices into storytime.
