The Penguin Young Readers Group Award provides a $600 stipend to attend the 2013 ALA Annual Conference in Chicago! Applicants must have fewer than 10 years of experience as a children’s librarian and work directly with children. The Maureen Hayes Award brings together children and nationally recognized authors/illustrators by funding $4,000 to an author/illustrator visit to a library or school.
