To kick off the 2011 ALA Annual Conference in New Orleans, ALSC is hosting two quick events that will surely get your conference experience on the right track.
On Friday, June 24 at 3-4 PM in Morial Convention Center Room 350-351, ALSC will host ALSC 101. The ultimate guide to all things ALSC, this event is an introduction to membership and the highlights of Annual Conference. Plus, participants will be registered for a chance to win tickets to the Newbery-Caldecott-Wilder Banquet on Sunday, June 26.
After ALSC 101, join fellow and prospective members at the ALSC Happy Hour, 8-10 PM at the Checkered Parrot, 132 Royal Street, New Orleans. This is a great opportunity to sit down and talk individually with members, friends, and staff.
