Intended to accompany <a href=\"http:\/\/dia.ala.org\" title=\"Dia \">El d\u00eda de los ni\u00f1os\/El d\u00eda de los libros (D\u00eda)<\/a> programming, the four book lists are comprised of multicultural titles that showcase STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) topics. <\/p>\n<p>The four Building STEAM with D\u00eda book lists are available for children from birth to Pre-K, kindergarten to 2nd grade, 3rd to 5th grade and 6th to 8th grade. PDFs of the reading lists are available online in full color and are free to download, copy and distribute. Book lists are available to download through the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ala.org\/alsc\/2015-building-steam-dia-book-lists\" title=\"Dia STEAM Booklists\">ALSC<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/dia.ala.org\/content\/free-program-downloads\" title=\"Dia STEAM Booklists\">D\u00eda website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The lists also feature simple and age appropriate STEAM activities to accompany one of the titles on the list. Each is designed to help librarians and parents bring the book to life through easy hands-on STEAM activities.<\/p>\n<p>Titles and activities in the Building STEAM with D\u00eda book lists were selected and developed by members of ALSC\u2019s Quicklists Consulting Committee.
