Two small groups have been convened to look at some pressing issues close to our hearts: The <strong>Board Subcommittee on Strategic Plan Alignment<\/strong> is considering ALSC business, looking at our core goals and objectives and finding ways to attend to them virtually. The <strong>Scope of Attention Task Force<\/strong> is refining our Divisional definition of &#8220;children,&#8221; looking at both the terms (age vs. grade) and scope (babies? 14 year-olds? Where do we draw those lines?). In the coming weeks and months these groups will be looking to members (that&#8217;s you) for input,\u00a0in a formal way. But\u00a0now&#8217;s the time to start thinking and talking.\u00a0I&#8217;ve laid everything out in more detail on ALA Connect.
