PDFs of the book lists are available online in full color and black and white and are free to download, copy and distribute. Libraries are able to customize the lists with their own information, hours, and list of programs before printing and distributing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese book lists are full of fun titles that will help to grow a child\u2019s love for reading,\u201d\u009d said Starr Latronica, ALSC president. \u201cWe encourage librarians to make copies of these lists available to families at their library and in their community.\u201d\u009d<\/p>\n<p>Graphic novels on this list are defined as a full-length story told in paneled, sequential, graphic format. The list does not include book-length collections of comic strips, wordless picture books, or hybrid books that are a mixture of traditional text and comics\/graphics.
