Which recent audiobooks are you talking up to your colleagues and customers? Two committees &#8212; The Notable Children&#8217;s Recordings committee and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ala.org\/awardsgrants\/node\/26\">Odyssey Award<\/a> committee &#8212; have been listening their ears off all year; they would love to hear your suggestions of titles which meet their criteria.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>ALSC Personal Members are invited to suggest titles for the 2014 Notable Children\u2019s Recordings List, a list of the most distinguished music, audiobooks, and read-along kits created for children released in the United States between November 1, 2012 and October 31, 2013. You may send recommendations with full bibliographic information through the end of October 2013 to Lynda Salem-Poling, NCR Committee Chair 2014, at <a href=\"mailto:lynda.poling@lbpl.org\" target=\"_blank\">lynda.poling@lbpl.org<\/a>. The award will be announced at the end of the ALA Midwinter Meeting in January 2014.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">For more information about the Notable Children\u2019s Recordings List, visit the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ala.org\/alsc\/\">ALSC website<\/a>. The audiobook must be published in English in the United States and the age range is children through young adults. Suggestions of titles may be sent by early November to Ellen Spring, Odyssey Committee Chair 2014 \u00a0at <a href=\"mailto:espring@roadrunner.com\">espring@roadrunner.com<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Time is short!
