Libraries will use these mini-grants to initiate a D\u00ed\u00ada Family Book Club Program.  These mini-grants are part of ALSC\u2019s Everyone Reads @ your library grant, funded by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www2.dollargeneral.com\/dgliteracy\/Pages\/landing.aspx\" title=\"Dollar General Literacy Foundation\">Dollar General Literacy Foundation<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Intended as an expansion of <a href=\"http:\/\/dia.ala.org\" title=\"Dia Homepage\">El d\u00ed\u00ada de los ni\u00f1os\/El d\u00ed\u00ada de los libros (D\u00ed\u00ada)<\/a>, the mini-grants will be awarded to libraries that demonstrate a need to better address the diverse backgrounds within their communities.  Up to 12 mini-grants will be awarded at $5,000 each.  In addition to these mini-grants, funding from this grant will also allow ALSC to create a D\u00ed\u00ada Family Book Club Toolkit that will be accessible to all.
