You plan ahead for Annual Conference. Now, it&#8217;s time to plan ahead for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ala.org\/alscinstitute\">2012 ALSC National Institute<\/a>. Early bird registration ends <strong>June 30, 2012.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s right. You have a little less than three weeks to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ala.org\/alsc\/institute-registration\">take advantage of great discounts<\/a>. ALSC members can save up to $95 if they register before June 30, and non-ALSC members receive a discount if they register before August 24, 2012. ALSC also encourages students to register for this event with a discounted student rate.<\/p>\n<p>The Institute is taking place Sept. 20 \u2014 22 in Indianapolis. This two-and-a-half-day workshop, devoted solely to children\u2019s and youth library services, offers attendees an intimate setting for participating in programming and networking with colleagues. <\/p>\n<p>What kind of programs, you ask?
