Main D\u00ed\u00aca events can be scheduled for April 30, however many libraries are presenting programs and events in April and May. To stress the importance of reading and literacy the motto \u201cD\u00ed\u00aca! Today and Every Day of the Year\u201d\u009d was created. It is hoped that the D\u00ed\u00aca celebration will last throughout the entire year at library locations.<\/p>\n<p>How do I start?<\/p>\n<p>Please visit the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ala.org\/dia\/\" target=\"_blank\">homepage<\/a> and explore the available resources.\u00a0 Registration is now open. ALSC, with additional support from Dollar General Literacy Foundation, reorganized the website and added content to help with preparations. Booklists, coloring pages, activity sheets, webinars and much more can be found there to help host programs and events. Resources for parents, public and private libraries are available. Register your events and receive free stickers and buttons, while supplies last. You can also share your ideas and activities with libraries across the country.
