From creating best of the best book lists to helping coordinate ALSC\u2019s annual budget, there is an ALSC Committee for everyone.&nbsp;Join us on <strong>Friday, April 19th, at 2:00 PM EST<\/strong> for ALSC 101 and an exploration of ALSC Committee work.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.alsc.ala.org\/blog\/?s=alsc+101\">Many topics have been covered in past opportunities<\/a> to learn about the organizations. This ALSC 101 session will discuss all the fantastic opportunities to serve on an ALSC committee. You will gain insight into:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the diverse committees available<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the application process and timeline<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the valuable skills you can acquire through committee service<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and more!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Get firsthand insights as ALSC Committee chairs and members join us to share their experiences and answer your questions. This is an especially great program for potential and student members to attend to learn about what ALSC could mean for their professional trajectories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This ALSC 101 session is open to everyone.
