Taught by Rogue Librarian\/Writer Edward T. Sullivan, this course is great for expanding your range of influence in children&#8217;s service. <\/p>\n<p>Reach that tough-to-crack demographic &#8211; those 10-to-12 year olds &#8211; in your library with this fun look at &#8216;tween readers. With this course, you&#8217;ll learn more about the social characteristics and the unique interests of &#8216;tweens. When the course is finished, you&#8217;ll see more engagement from your &#8216;tweens and be able to connect the books between childhood and the teenage years. <\/p>\n<p><HR><\/p>\n<p><em>All this week, the ALSC Blog will be featuring one online course for Fall 2011.
