Children and Libraries<\/em>  (CAL) is the journal of the Association for Library Services to Children. \u201c[I]t primarily serves as a vehicle for continuing education for librarians working with children, and showcases current scholarly research and practice in library service to children and significant activities and initiatives of the Association\u201d  (<\/em>http:\/\/www.ala.org\/alsc\/publications-resources\/cal<\/em><\/a>).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The ALSC Children & Libraries <\/em>Editorial Advisory Committee encourages you to consider writing for the journal. You are the experts in the field, and this is YOUR publication. Journal articles are written by and for children\u2019s library services practitioners from a wide array of experience levels, work settings, and job titles. We want to showcase your work and to learn from you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
