We all want to see what your group thinks will be selected as the &#8220;best of the best&#8221; in young people&#8217;s literature!<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>If you love children&#8217;s literature, I&#8217;m sure you get as excited as I do as the annual <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ala.org\/news\/mediapresscenter\/presskits\/youthmediaawards\/alayouthmediaawards\">Youth Media Awards<\/a> approach and that you enjoy the excitement of participating in your own Mock YMA discussions and elections. The ALSC Blog invites you to share your group&#8217;s Mock winners.<\/p>\n<p>Again this year, we are developing a page on the ALSC Blog with as many of the results from upcoming Mock Elections as we can find. As I write this post, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alsc.ala.org\/blog\/2019-mock-election-results\/\">2019 Mock YMA Elections<\/a> page is just waiting for results from discussions around the country&#8230;.\u00a0 I hope it will begin to fill in soon!<\/p>\n<p>To add <strong>your<\/strong> mock election results to this page, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emailmeform.com\/builder\/form\/MJ1K7u3xqPj4I0NY20\"> please use this form<\/a>, and encourage your friends and colleagues to contribute the results from <strong>their<\/strong> discussions and elections. There are a slew of great books this year; I can&#8217;t wait to see which titles are selected at your Mock Elections!<\/p>\n<p>On <strong>Monday, Jan. 28, 2019<\/strong> at 8 a.m. PT, at the American Library Associations Midwinter Meetings held in Seattle, Washington, the winners of the 2019 Youth Media Awards will be announced.
