The new school year started, for us, just ten days ago.\u00a0 I used the Library classes time to catch up with my 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students about their summer reads.<\/p>\n

I put together two lists: New School Year — Summer Favorites<\/a> featuring many series and books that 4\/5 graders love and recommend for their peers, and 6th Grade Summer Reads<\/a>, with the titles that 6th grade students shared with their friends during English\/Library classes.<\/p>\n

I also asked the 6th grade students to share their genre preferences and also the reasons why they liked these books so much.<\/p>\n

Here are two charts to demonstrate their opinions:<\/p>\n
