The ALSC Public Awareness Committee, in conjunction with ALSC Leadership, is working on a new campaign that will help you promote all the terrific things Children\u2019s Librarians do to those who hold public office.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The goals for creating\u00a0the forthcoming Championing Children\u2019s Services Virtual Toolkit are:<\/h3>\n

– Helping youth staff advance their message to elected officials<\/p>\n

– Garnering support for the critical work libraries do in their communities<\/p>\n

In order to produce the most useful end product, your feedback (and that of your friends) is needed.\u00a0 It will only take a few minutes to fill out the survey and as an added incentive you could win a $25 gift certificate for Out of Print Clothing<\/a>!<\/p>\n

Just follow these simple steps enter:<\/h3>\n

Step One:<\/strong> Take the Championing Children\u2019s Services Survey<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Step Two: <\/strong>Tell all your friends and colleagues to take the short survey by Friday, December 1<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Step Three:<\/strong>\u00a0 Tell your friends to type \u201cReferred by (your name)\u201d in the comment field in this blog.<\/p>\n

Step Four:<\/strong> On Saturday, December 2, check the comments in this blog post to see if you are the winner.<\/p>\n

Step Five:<\/strong>\u00a0 Get ready to do some shopping and don\u2019t forget to thank your friends.<\/p>\n
