Our mission is to\u00a0identify and disseminate information on effective and innovative programs for young children (birth to 5). \u00a0We work to develop training workshops on early childhood programs and services, to update and develop ALSC resources with early literacy information,\u00a0and to initiate activities and projects that are helpful to those individuals who work with young children. Past projects include: <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ala.org\/alsc\/babiesneedwords\">Babies Need Words Every Day Toolkit<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ala.org\/alsc\/sites\/ala.org.alsc\/files\/content\/BabiesNeedWords_Booklist_FINAL.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Book lists for babies<\/a>, <\/strong>and\u00a0a <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ala.org\/alsc\/elearning\/webinararchive\">4 Part Webinar Series<\/a>. What should we do next?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We want to hear\u00a0from you to ensure our next project is timely, impactful, and helpful to you!
