In December, I spent an afternoon at the Guggenheim exploring Agnes Martin\u2019s art<\/a>.\u00a0 I enjoyed seeing her selection of paintings from the past 40 years \u2013 lines, grids, whites, grays to bold colors conveying \u201cabstract emotions.\u201d\u00a0 It made me think of all of the other strong, persistent, creative women artists.<\/p>\n
