My library is loving this year&#8217;s Snoopy campaign; we have a &#8220;Find the Snoopy&#8221; contest underway in order to promote the theme and library cards, as well as a display of our favorite library-themed reads. Being a big sister comes with many responsibilities, including book-sharing time! Just because Lola is able to read to baby Leo doesn&#8217;t mean that she misses out on bedtime stories. Not only is <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Lola Reads to Leo<\/span> an adorable story about reading, it&#8217;s a sweet and positive story about having a baby in the family.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/books.simonandschuster.com\/Lottie-Paris-and-the-Best-Place\/Angela-Johnson\/9780689873782\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-11521\" src=\"https:\/\/www.alsc.ala.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/lottieparis-300x229.jpg\" alt=\"lottieparis\" width=\"300\" height=\"229\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.alsc.ala.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/lottieparis-300x229.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.alsc.ala.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/lottieparis.jpg 350w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>(image taken from <a href=\"http:\/\/books.simonandschuster.com\/Lottie-Paris-and-the-Best-Place\/Angela-Johnson\/9780689873782\">Simon &amp; Schuster<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>I hope Angela Johnson continues with her Lottie Paris series; <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Lottie Paris and the Best Place<\/span> is the sequel (of sorts) to <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Lottie Paris Lives Here<\/span>, which introduced Lottie Paris and her Papa Pete (possibly her grandfather). Lottie Paris and Papa Pete are off to Lottie Paris&#8217;s favorite place&#8211;the library! Lottie Paris finds awesome books and even makes a new friend. Focusing on a little book-loving girl named Ana, this is an uplifting look at a very different sort of library that features the hard conditions of Ana&#8217;s community in a sensitive manner.<\/p>\n<p>Are you doing any special promotions\/activities for Library Card Sign-Up Month?
