The Super Turtle is speedy.\u00a0\u00a0 The Super Elephant has super water powers and the Super Rainbow Puppy makes mean people nice.\u00a0 Every day, I receive a new piece of art.\u00a0 This makes me smile all day long.\u00a0 The children\u2019s enthusiasm when they share each super animal power and how they will save the day is amazing.\u00a0 I also love hearing how they created each piece.\u00a0 Did they use glue? Magazine cut-outs? Paint?\u00a0 Found objects? Nature? One child created a Super Rainbow Puppy and included flowers, leaves and grass on her canvas.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_11306\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-11306\" style=\"width: 225px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.alsc.ala.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Super-Bunny-.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-11306\" src=\"https:\/\/www.alsc.ala.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/Super-Bunny--225x300.jpg\" alt=\"Super Bunny (photo by Paige Bentley-Flannery\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-11306\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Super Bunny (photo by Paige Bentley-Flannery<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>One child added beads for eyes and a pipe cleaner for the mouth-Super Bunny!<\/p>\n<p>I hosted weekly summer school visits and after hearing a silly story, learning about a new section of the library and checking out books, children created their own Super Animal at the library.\u00a0 After, the art committee added foam core to each art piece, making them easier to hang in the meeting room.<\/p>\n<p>The call out in the library event guide was open to everyone in any art form and in any size.\u00a0 What other animals will appear?
