The Dí­a celebration (El dí­a de los niños/El dí­a de los libros Children’s Day/Book Day) works to do just that. As the 2014 Dí­a celebration approaches the Association for Library Service to Children (ALSC) is inviting librarians to register their 2014 Dí­a programs in the Dí­a National Program Registry. By registering their Dí­a programs held throughout the year in the national registry, libraries build a searchable database that showcases all types and sizes of Dí­a programming allowing families to find programs near them. Libraries that register will also receive Dí­a stickers, buttons and bookmarks (while supplies last).
