The 10th IBBY Regional Conference promises to provide a unique opportunity for teachers, librarians, and other readers to experience the world of international children´s and young adult literature. The conference theme “BOOKJOY Around the World,” captures the spirit of what will happen over the course of three days as people from diverse areas of the globe come together to read, discuss, share, and revel in books that take us to real and imaginary worlds, offer insights into other people and ways of life, and promote international understanding through children’s books. USBBY is honored to use the same theme as that of the 2013 IBBY International Children´s Book Day poster and activities designed by Ashley Bryan, children´s book illustrator and Pat Mora, children´s author.
