This year, over 400 libraries will be celebrating across the country. Here at the ALSC office, we’ve heard from a lot of libraries that are doing some fun things. Here are a few examples below: On Saturday, April 28, the Harrington Library of the Plano (Texas) Public Library System will be hosting an event with crafts, stories and an “Manana Iguana” puppet show! On Tuesday, April 24, the Buckhead Branch of the Atlanta Fulton (Ga.) Public Library System will be be hosting even featuring Pura Belpré award-winning books, books authored by Pura Belpré, and a display about her life and career.
