ALSC member and Newbery award winner Susan Patron just shared that she and Roger Sutton, editor of the Horn Book, will be speaking at Pitzer College in Los Angeles on Friday, February 19. The topic is “What Makes a Good Banned Book?: How Children’s Literature Gets Into Trouble.” It’s free and the program starts at 2:00 p.m. Check for details at Pitzer College.
