I am in the midst of a reading frenzy to prepare for the 2008 Mock Sibert, Mock Newbery, Mock Caldecott and Mock Geisel programs presented and hosted by the children’s librarians of the Allen County (IN) Public Library. The mere thought of being on an actual award committee intimidates me, but the mock elections are, for me, great professional development tools.
