#alamw12 Opening Boxes in Dallas

Thursday is a quiet day for ALSC at #alamw12 as we unpack our trunks (the famous black ALA trunks) and get ready for meetings on Friday. Some of us on staff arrived on Wednesday, others today on Thursday. The first order after arriving from the airport and getting checked in to the hotel is make sure everything else has arrived safely. Do we have all of our literature? Our schedules for the weekend? Do we have a map of the convention center?

Already, I like Dallas. It’s much warmer and sunnier than Chicago. The convention center is very manageable. Can’t wait for things to really getting humming tomorrow!
