I promised some food photography. This waffle was eaten last night after the ALSC Youth Connection Reception at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. Sometimes when you #act4kids, you need to refuel.
Just a hop away from the museum and about 8 walking minutes from the conference hotel, Taste of Belgium on the Banks instantly got my group hungry with just the yummy smell that surrounds you as you walk in. The menu is loaded with waffles, crepes, galettes, and desserts galore! I ordered the Belgium chocolate & cream waffle, which I devoured, but the table also loved the brussel sprouts, frites, and wide variety of adult beverages.
Having a yummy time in Cincinnati so far, can’t wait to start talking advocacy and brains!
