With this post and $15, kids and their grown-ups can make dynamic chalk art drawings at your next event.
Supplies:
- Chalk (sidewalk chalk is great for this)
- Black paper (cardstock or construction paper)
- Baby wipes (for messy hands)
Set up: This is a super simple outreach activity. Just pack up your supplies and find a table and you are all set. This is a fan favorite on the ArtCart. Similar outreach activities include: Dot Art, Art Links, Squart, Art on the Spot, and Cotton Swab Pointillism.
Program prep: We like to cut the black paper in half (4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″), but that is optional. Other prep just includes gathering your supplies.
