Are you offering a Mock Election in preparation for the YMA’s?

The ALA Youth Media Awards will take place virtually on Monday, Jan. 24, 2022, at 8 a.m. CT during LibLearnX: The Library Learning Experience. That’s less than 2 weeks from now! Are you offering a Mock Election to prepare for this event?

Many libraries, schools, bookstores, and online groups enjoy preparing for these announcements by offering Mock Election programs. The ALSC Blog is working to compile results from these Mock Award programs from around the country. When you complete your program, don’t forget to submit your winning title(s) to the Mock Youth Media Awards (YMA) results page on the ALSC Blog. It’s fun to check back often to see the newest results.

The process to submit your winning titles is quite simple. To add your mock election results, please use this form.

As submissions are received, they will be posted on the Mock YMA Election results page in each of the following categories:

• Mock Caldecott

• Mock Newbery

• Mock Coretta Scott King

• Mock Geisel

• Mock Printz

• Mock Sibert

• Mock Pura Belprè Results

• Mock (Mildred L.) Batchelder Results

We look forward to seeing YOUR results!
