- and the hundreds of other topics children’s librarians are involved with on a regular basis?
The mission of the ALSC Blog is to provide a venue for coverage of time sensitive news in children’s librarianship, current issues in the field, and programs, conferences, initiatives, resources, and activities of interest to ALSC members and those interested in children’s librarianship.
Have you ever thought about becoming a blogger for this blog?
The ALSC Blog is seeking additional writers. We are currently accepting applicants for three distinct types of bloggers. Check out these brief descriptions and let us know which you might be interested in by completing the appropriate form.
Regular bloggers must be current members of ALSC and commit to contributing one post per month. We are particularly seeking out a broad range of perspectives and experiences with a specific focus on representing and empowering diverse voices. Interested in joining our team of regular bloggers? Submit a Regular Blogger Interest Form.
Guest contributors may request an opportunity to submit a guest blog post. Guidelines related to guest bloggers can be found in our Guest Post Guidelines. If you are interested in submitting a guest post, please read and fill out our Guest Blogger Interest Form.
The Annual ALA conference, the upcoming LibLearnX (The Library Learning Experience) and the ALSC Institute are all experiences at which micro-bloggers reflect and report on their experiences for those who are unable to attend. As an attendee, we invite you to share what you’ve learned through contributions via the ALSC Blog. If you are interested in participating as a volunteer conference blogger, please complete the Conference Blogging Interest Form.
We look forward to hearing from you!
