ALSC’s 2017 Summer Reading Lists are now available! Compiled by the Quicklists Consulting Committee, the lists are full of book titles to keep children engaged in reading throughout the summer. Four lists are available for: Birth-Preschool; K-2nd; 3rd- 5th; and 6th-8th grade students. The lists are designed as brochures, with fun, colorful designs and a customizable back panel for adding library information, summer hours, etc. Best of all, the lists may be downloaded for free, copied, and distributed to children, parents, and caregivers in your library. Find the lists on the ALSC website.

The summer reading lists are the newest additions to ALSC’s collection of recommended reading tools, which also features The Unity and Justice Book Lists, Mismatched Pairs: Paired Nonfiction and Fiction for Tweens, and Great Gifts to Give, among others.
