Day one
One plane ride, one shuttle ride, two uber rides, one pedicab and my own two feet. Lots of going places.
One rocket launching into the sky off the left side of our Southwest plane just before we landed.
One small rainbow ribbon at the registration desk to pin on in support of Orlando.
Six rides at the Magic Kingdom. You haven’t lived until you go on the Peter Pan ride all by yourself and have all those memories come flooding back of bringing your children here decades ago.
Three for dinner. Two librarians and an incredible author….Jordan Sonnenblick…who is so willing to share his big heart in his powerful stories…can’t wait to go to the Scholastic preview today to get my hands on his new book.
