When life gives you lemons… cancelled sessions at #alaac14

I am relatively new to this whole conference thing, so the idea of just cancelling a session threw me for a loop. I was really looking forward to “Creating Fun, Accessible Programming for Youth with Disabilities” this morning. But it was cancelled. Why? Who knows. But the convention center is nothing if not filled with countless things to do, so I headed over to the exhibition halls. The time I would have spent in that no doubt informative session turned into time getting books autographed by Brian Floca (!!!) and Jarett Krosoczka (!!!). Again, being relatively new to this conference thing, I am in awe of how many authors you could hit if you decided to throw a stick in the exhibition hall.
