Freedom to Read Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to defending the first amendment. FTRF participates in litigation, provides grants and educates the public about the importance of the First Amendment. If you’ve heard about the Tucson Mexican American Studies case, then you have heard about the work of FTRF. You can find a full outline of the FTRF’s involvement in current cases here.
I would like to invite you to join the FTRF to support their work, to spread the word about censorship and to defend everyone’s freedom to read. Membership is only $35 and that money helps FTRF accomplish many amazing things, including these super fun, Judith F. Krug Memorial Grant projects.
