You know you’re a children’s librarian when …

You know you’re a children’s librarian when

you see a commercial for environmentally-friendly toilet tissue without the roll, and all thoughts of your carbon footprint fly from your head.  The only thing you’re thinking is,

“Oh no!  What will I use for crafts?  Should I start stockpiling?”

If you have a “You know you’re a children’s librarian when …” moment, please share it!

When the Board all sees a logo as “a bullet hole” and you saw it as “a Ferris wheel!”

You show friends and relatives where you work and they point out that you have more toys on your desk than most of their 3 yr olds own.

You know you’re a children’s librarian when you find yourself humming storytime songs throughout the day – and you don’t mind it anymore!

You know you’re a children’s librarian when you go to the movies and take notes on the previews so you know which novelizations to purchase.

You know you’re a children’s librarian when you answer query with: would you like a butter knife, a bread knife, or something else?
