I’ve packed comfortable shoes and downloaded the Scheduler App. Soon I’ll be joining librarians from around the U. S. at the ALA Annual Conference in San Francisco. I have a very exciting schedule planned for the conference. I am looking forward to the opening of the Exhibit Hall tonight and speed dating with 24 children’s and teen authors on Saturday. On Sunday, I hope to share with you the tips and tricks I learn by stopping by a Guerrilla Storytime – always a fantastic learning experience.
I am a Youth Services Librarian for the Santa Clarita Public Library, a small library system north of Los Angeles County. My primary focus is on providing STEAM based programs for children who are in elementary school. So, if you’re looking for the latest from ALA Annual about children’s literature, programming and outreach for school-age children, I’ll be sharing all this wonderful librarian info with you . . . soon.
