The Way to #ALA2013

For me, the way to #ALA2013 is paved with audiobooks. Yup, I’m getting ready for my 6-hour bus ride tomorrow morning and the 6-hour ride back on Tuesday by loading up my phone with lots of great listens. In truth, I have WAY more audiobooks than I’ll actually be able to listen to, but I like to have a selection in case I’m not in the mood for something I brought or the narrator doesn’t vibe with me.

Along them?

2012 Odyssey Award Winner Rotters by Daniel Kraus, read by Kirby Heybourne (available for FREE download from SYNC this week!)

White Cat by Holly Black, read by Jesse Eisenberg (a recommendation from two trusted librarian friends)

George Washington, Spymaster by Thomas B. Allen, read by Brian Keeler (getting ready for a presentation on teen nonfiction)

The Lemonade Crime by Jacqueline Davies, read by Stina Nielsen (just finished and loved The Lemonade War)

It’s been awhile since I took a long trip by myself, and my ears are ready!
