Say hello to ALSC’s Emerging Leader team! This afternoon, our Member Mentor, Ernie Cox and I met with the 2012 ALSC Emerging Leader team: Rocco, Kim, Debbie, and Maria. This year’s group has been designated Team E and will be working on recommendations for ALSC’s Mentoring Program.
The Emerging Leader program is a leadership development program that focuses on team building and leadership skills. The Emerging Leaders start their project at the Midwinter Meeting and will finish by ALA Annual Conference.
The six of us did a lot of planning for the upcoming project and had a great time getting to know one another. I think we all came away looking forward working together as a team. I’ll try to update the blog on happenings within the project on the ALSC Blog.
