Flash Mob Freeze at ALA Annual

I was sad to hear that the annual competition for the Book Cart Drill Team World Championship had been canceled this year, but I just heard about something which might be even more fun and will certainly be more powerful. It’s also something that anyone going to the Annual Conference can participate in; no special skills required! It’s a Freeze Mob to advocate for libraries and librarians, and it’s taking place on Sunday, June 26 in New Orleans during the conference. As detailed in PC Sweeney’s Blog: “This is the ALA Advocacy Freeze. Where we get out of the echo chamber of the conference and show that Libraries and Communities can and should continue to support each other.
