What I Wasn’t Taught in Library School… Plumbing 101

One of my most “enlightening” experiences came from the urinals in the men’s bathroom.  We had problems with them continuing to run after flushing, so we (the three women who were the only employees at the branch) learned how to take a screwdriver to adjust the valve.  I guess you can say that I learned Plumbing 101 from working at the library–definitely didn’t take that course in library school!
